Flood and FEMA insurance no longer allowed due to Congress vote
No renewals or new policies written for FEMA flood insurance
Congress voted today to not allow any flood policies on homes to be written or renewed until at least April 12th when they reconvene. I am assuming lenders will not fund any homes in a flood plain…. This will affect any homeowners living in the Highland Lakes, Lake Austin, Lake Travis.
